Tooth Erosion – Adult dental health survey review

Professor Andrew Eder reviews the findings of the latest Adult Dental Health Survey and finds greater numbers of patients are exhibiting increasingly severe tooth erosion with the largest increase of tooth wear in young people and an overall rise in England of 10% in the last 11 years.This is in part due to the fact we are living longer but there are other causes which are potentially preventive.
